However, the elemental magnesium value on the label doesn't match what pure magnesium glycinate would provide. Pure magnesium glycinate contains about 14% elemental magnesium by weight, and this product's labelled value is inconsistent with that figure. This raises questions about whether the product is pure magnesium glycinate. This product's rating was based on lab test results for its elemental magnesium content.
